BIG NEWS: Our very own Jordan Kim @foundandrewound, Illustrator Coordinator for the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators @scbwi, was invited to showcase her artwork, as well as support Oregon’s children’s book illustrators, at the Society’s annual conference in New York City. Jordan’s collages are often called “painting with paper”. She uses recycled pieces and found scraps for her work. Here’s what she said: “This whole trip was a huge reminder of why community matters so much in this creative life — especially in the times we are living in now.” Come check out the children’s book she has illustrated in addition to her originals and prints at Art On Oak, 210 Oak St., Hood River, OR. We’re open every day of the week from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. “The friendliest gallery in the Gorge.” #collage #collageartist #childrensbooks #oregonartist #visithoodriver
